Had a thermal straightener with Jim back in June with awesome results. My previous stylist retired and I had to find another stylist. I have been getting my hair straightened since 1998 but this is by far the best one yet.I went to the beach and did not have to use a blow dryer or flat iron at all! I would highly recommend Jim. After years of coloring my hair, I had made a complete mess of it. I went in with gray, light brown and dark brown....I literally had tri-colored hair. I was so depressed when I looked in mirror. So I met with Shelby @ the salon, and she is a miracle worker! I walked out with light brown hair with highlights. I also wanted an 'edgy' cut, and she nailed it perfectly. I've been going to Jim for a little over two years and have been very pleased. I love the way he cuts my hair and love their staff. Last month he did my first highlights and I love them. My daughter has donated her hair there twice and they have been great with that. She leaves with a cute, new haircut and they handle packaging the hair and shipping it for us. Melissa was AWESOME!! She listened to exactly what I wanted, matched my color perfectly, & she was able to blend the highlights that i love & made it look so natural. My hair was long, thick, & course. Now it is so soft, bouncy, manageable, & so easy to fix. I posted my picture & have had almost 200 likes. The main comments were how healthy & stylish it is & how much younger it makes me look. I was a little worried, because my husband likes my hair long & I had it cut above my shoulders. He took one look at me, gave me a huge kiss & told me how beautiful I am. He said it was the best my hair has ever looked (except our wedding day) & I agree. I’ve used the same woman for 25 years & she does a good job, but since I moved to Birmingham, it would’ve been 140 miles round trip. I was thrilled with my cut and hilites by Sha’. She listened to what I wanted and made sure i was happy with everything throughout the whole process. Even after she’d done the blowout I asked her to add some face framing layers in the front, and she was glad to do it–even though she was the last person in the building on a Friday afternoon.
